Even right now, pretty much every product you can think of that’s at least partly made using steel will contain a heavy dose of recycled steel. Recycled steel is cheaper to make, does less damage to the environment and is just as strong as the brand-new stuff. As such, the fact that up to 80% of the steel in the average car can be recycled is not only a blessing, but it pretty much explains why we do what we do.
